About Me

I was born and raised in the Midwest, but Sierra Madre is my home.  After years of practicing law in a corporate environment, I opened my own practice to focus on serving individuals and families in my community.

Estate Planning requires a personalized approach and I enjoy meeting with clients to determine what planning instruments best serve their needs.

As a working professional, a wife, and a mother to three kids, I understand the need for straightforward, practical, and timely advice.

Experience

For over 15 years, I've been helping clients solve problems.

I’ve had my own estate planning practice for more than five years. Prior to starting my own practice, I served as Vice President of Legal Affairs for Gavin de Becker & Associates, a Los Angeles based private security and risk management company.  My practice was varied including contracts, labor and employment, insurance, corporate governance, and state and international licensing.

I graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles with a Master of Laws (Tax LLM) in 2022, DePaul University College of Law in 2007 (J.D.), and the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002 (B.B.A. in Marketing and Spanish).

In addition to practicing, I have served as Lecturer in Law at USC Gould School of Law.

I hold memberships to the Pasadena Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Mission

I’m dedicated to:

1. Helping clients understand the importance of estate planning;

2. Identifying and implementing a personalized planning strategy; and

3. Providing effective, understandable, economical advice.
